CONVEX TIKI #1
I absolutely enjoyed creating this artwork as I was experimenting with different colourways with alcohol inks on a convex mirror film which is an exciting medium to work with. This artwork only comes in 60cm diameter by 10cm deep convex film structure and is an abstraction of the hei-tiki which is an ornamental pendant of the Māori of New Zealand. I have used this motif also in my 2020 T-shirt design called the Tiki Tok summer Tee which can be also be purchased from my Etsy store.
